An exhaustive zine-cum-architectural-guidebook, it documents and describes the features of eleven doors, including date, architect, building owner, cost, size, building materials, and even the reference information for the City of Chicago building permits. Shure provides drawings of the doors, their building facades, and street addresses/intersections.
